Summary of Wyoming Graduated Licensing Law
(detailed chart bottom of this page)
Wyoming has a two stage licensing process for minors.
  1. Instruction Permit (at least age 15) We recommend our Driver Ed in a Box® to use during the Learner stage. Shows the parent how to teach collision-free driving habits and provides unique teaching tools (mirrors, checklists, videos, audio instruction series, etc.).
  2. Regular License (at least 16)
Teens want to know how to stay out of collisions!
Today’s teens do not just want their license; they want to be good collision-free drivers. They know the risks. Virtually all have friends who got a license and were involved in a collision in the first four weeks. Most teens have lost classmates due to fatal collisions.
Driver Ed in a Box® Certificate of Completion!

Our product now includes both the Interactive CD-Rom Version and the Textbook Version for one low price.  You may use either version to complete the course at your own pace.

Teens want to know "why" the things you ask them to do will work. When you complete the full course you get a Certificate of Completion. Take this to your insurance agent. It varies state by state and by insurance company, but you may receive an insurance discount.
Using the full course your teen will learn why each step is important while learning the collision-free HABITS that make you a better driver. The full course also includes a section on Social & Consumer Issues. This includes how alcohol and drugs as well as emotions and attitude affect driving performance. Also covered are vehicle ownership (buying, leasing, insuring, and maintaining).
Over 15,000 students have used Driver Ed in a Box®.
"Excellent. It gave me full confidence that I can teach my teen to drive collision-free." - R.M., Parent
"The curriculum provided a great tool and framework through which my Dad could instruct me. I still refer to many of the terms we used during this program. Also the practice drive tests aided me in preparing for my drive test and I appreciated the foundation of road law heavily laced with common sense." - Nathan Nance, Student
"Excellent. I'm so glad we decided to teach Kelly to drive rather have her attend a course away from home. This kit allowed us to become knowledgeable teachers and everyone is talking the same language." - T.O., Parent
