Summary of Nevada Graduated Licensing Law
(detailed chart bottom of this page)
Nevada has a two stage licensing process for minors.
  1. Learner’s Permit (at least age 15 ½ ) We recommend our Driver Ed in a Box® to use during the Learner stage. Shows the parent how to teach collision-free driving habits and provides unique teaching tools (mirrors, checklists, videos, audio instruction series, etc.).
  2. Driver’s License (at least 15 ¾ ) Driver education requirement. Restrictions apply.
Teens want to know how to stay out of collisions!
Today’s teens do not just want their license; they want to be good collision-free drivers. They know the risks. Virtually all have friends who got a license and were involved in a collision in the first four weeks. Most teens have lost classmates due to fatal collisions.
Driver Ed in a Box® Certificate of Completion!

Our product now includes both the Interactive CD-Rom Version and the Textbook Version for one low price.  You may use either version to complete the course at your own pace.

Teens want to know "why" the things you ask them to do will work. When you complete the full course you get a Certificate of Completion. Take this to your insurance agent. It varies state by state and by insurance company, but you may receive an insurance discount.
Using the full course your teen will learn why each step is important while learning the collision-free HABITS that make you a better driver. The full course also includes a section on Social & Consumer Issues. This includes how alcohol and drugs as well as emotions and attitude affect driving performance. Also covered are vehicle ownership (buying, leasing, insuring, and maintaining).
Over 15,000 students have used Driver Ed in a Box®.
"I assumed that lane changes were simple, and that not much was required. Not being fully aware of my blind spots, I attempted to make a lane change and discovered that there was another car in my intended path of travel. After my session in the parking lot, I became fully aware of all my blind spots and the S.M.O.G. procedure which has helped me in making successful lane changes." - B.B., Sparks, Nevada
"Excellent! Small price to pay for driver ed assistance." - R.C.D., Jr., Boulder City, Nevada
"I like the in-vehicle experience. This program helped me become less aggressive on the road." - R.C.D, III, Boulder City, Nevada
